Client: Starbucks
Task: Content Creation And Social Media Marketing
Starbucks is a coffeehouse chain that offers coffee beans, espresso drinks, teas, and pastries, much like Peet’s Coffee, Philz Coffee, and many other similar chains and franchises. It is a well-known franchise and a household name in the beverage industry, similar to how McDonald's is widely recognized in its sector. You might refer to it as the McDonald's or Taco Bell of the coffee industry.
Requirements:
Identify the strengths and weaknesses of Starbucks’ content, with reference to at least one individual post on each of the three platforms mentioned: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
For each post that you select for your analysis, highlight the elements that do/do not meet the criteria for a successful content recipe.
Draft three new content post ideas, one each for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, with a clear explanation of why your ideas meet the characteristics required of effective social media content.
Finally, suggest a social media policy for the organization that follows best practices, with three to five ideas.
